Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. Her birth date was June 13, 1962. In 1983, following her film debut Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat pack group consisting of actors. She appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986), and WarGames. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for over twenty years. She began her career in film beginning in the early 1980s, with the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she received a lot of reviews. Rick Rosenthal was the director of the film with other actors notable, such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Following her success in her first film she also appeared in the 1985 comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. The film of John Hughes, The Breakfast Club is considered as among the best high school films. While the budget for the film was only $1 million, its profits exceeded $50 million. While she was doing this the first time on TV, her television debut took place on CBS Schoolbreak. It was a program designed for teens and aired from April 1980. Other TV shows she appeared in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. The show Little Sister she makes a guest appearance. Also, she appears on X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film where her character is a brief cameo. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her stellar performances among them her MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
