Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is first woman who has won CrossFit Games in two consecutive years. She finished second both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter, is also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete, is also a celebrity TV personality. The media has praised her for being the sole woman to ever win twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. The other accomplishments she has achieved include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013 and 2013. Annie was raised through her mother and father living in Reykjavik Iceland. As a exercising enthusiast since an early age, she took part in numerous school competitions and won several medals. In 2009 she took part in CrossFit competitions in California. Her first results were impressive. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 in 2021. Her height is about 5'7 and weighs approximately 67 kilograms. Annie began the CrossFit training in the year 2009 in California. She was able to perform well during the first few matches. She finished amongst the top 10 out of more than 70. But she did not win a title and finished with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed second place, and also won an Olympic silver medal that same year. Due to her impressive performance, she was able to win the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 led to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was her second time that she was able to win consecutively. In 2014, Annie won a Silver Medal and, most recently in 2021 she was awarded Bronze at the CrossFit Games. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. Annie is an aspiring athlete who has been the face of many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization and the Sidekick Yorbae. Additionally, she has a self-titled Youtube channel that has a couple of thousand subscribers where her training diet videos, family and travel vlogs are shared.
